My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of clinical and community settings.
My counseling approach is client-centered, relationship-focused, and grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s unique experiences. I utilize trauma-informed and strengths-based techniques to help clients identify challenges, build healthy coping skills, and develop confidence in their personal growth journey.

Lorena Olivera is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) in the State of New Jersey with more than 15 years of experience providing compassionate and client-centered mental health care.
Throughout her career, Lorena has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of clinical and community settings. She is knowledgeable in child and family counseling techniques, behavioral management, and advocacy services, maintaining a strong commitment to supporting clients through emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish, Lorena is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her therapeutic approach focuses on building trust, strengthening coping skills, and helping individuals and families work toward healing, personal growth, and emotional wellness.
